Minnesota LTAP is offering a free Truck-Weight Education Training in Marshall, Minnesota.
-This valuable training is ideal for:
-Trucking company owners and managers
-Safety coordinators
-Commercial truck drivers
-Agricultural and farm truck operators
-Aggregate haulers
-Truck manufacturers and dealers
-Law enforcement officials
-Road authorities
-Students enrolled in truck driving programs
If you are involved in truck operations, compliance, or roadway safety, this course provides important guidance on truck-weight laws and regulations.

County Road 8 (between County Road 19 & 380th Street) is now open to traffic.

Please be advised the areas where the bridges were replaced will remain gravel over the winter to allow for proper settling before paving. Advance warning signs have been installed to alert drivers of these conditions.

08/19/2025

Midwest Contracting is replacing a bridge on County Road 8 (between the intersection of County Road 19 & 380th St). This section of road will be closed as they perform their work.

The expected duration of the closure is 3 weeks.
It is important to note that much of their work is weather dependent and the expected duration of closure is only an estimate.

Knife River plans to be paving on County Road 5 (between the South City Limits of Ivanhoe and County Road 17) AND on County Road 23 in Ivanhoe (between State Hwy 19 and Railroad St.) on Thursday and Friday of this week (7/24/25 and 7/25/25).

Please note the following regarding this post:
-No Parking signs will be in place tomorrow (7/23/25) so that they can perform their work along these sections of road.
-Delays in travel can be expected along these routes.
-The dates in this post are an estimate, as much of their work is weather dependent.

Knife River will be paving County Road 13 (from the South Dakota State Line to US Hwy 75) starting next Monday (7/21/25). Work will continue on this section throughout much of next week.

Knife River may also be working on the following sections of road starting next Monday (7/21/25)
-County Road 20 (between US Hwy 75 and Yellow Medicine County 16).
-County Road 7 (between County Road 17 and County Road 18).
-County Road 5 (between the South City Limits of Ivanhoe and County Road 17).
-County Road 23 in Ivanhoe (between State Hwy 19 and County Road 25).

Please note the following:
-Delays in travel can be expected if you’re traveling this section of road.
-This post is an estimate in regards to the duration of the work as much of their work is dependent on weather conditions.

Knife River is working on County Road 7 between Tyler and Arco (from 160th St. to County Road 15 in Arco). Work will continue along this section of road for the remainder of the week (July 15th, 2025 to July 18th, 2025).

Knife River plans to pave County Road 5 (between the South City limits of Ivanhoe and County Road 17) starting tomorrow, July 11th, 2025. Delays in travel can be expected along this section of road as work occurs.

County Road 8 (between 340th St. & County Road 19)—this section of road is complete.

County Road 16 (between 180th Ave. and Hwy. 75)—they plan to finish this between today and Thursday.

County Road 7 (between County Road 134 & County Road 18)—this section of road is complete.

County Road 7 (between 160th St. & County Road 15) —they plan to finish their initial stage of work here between today and Friday.

County Road 20 (between Hwy. 75 & Yellow Medicine County 16)—they plan to finish this between today and Friday.
