We lost a dear member of the GIAC family yesterday. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Duane “Sluggo” Milton. Duane grew up in the immediate neighborhood and was an early member of the GIAC Boxing Program and the Quiet Society – GIAC’s Tae Kwon Do Club. More recently, Duane worked as a driver for the Senior Program, eventually joining the group as a participant. Duane and his wife Carol have been long-term supporters of GIAC and regularly attended many of our special events. He had a great sense of humor and a loving spirit; he will be greatly missed.
