With the holidays coming up, please note our holiday hours.

Our office will be closed tomorrow, Monday, November 11th, in observance of Veterans Day.

We will also be closing early at 3:15 PM on Wednesday, November 12th.

Normal office hours will resume on Thursday, November 13th.

The Gratiot County Treasurer’s Office will be closing early on Wednesday, November 12th at 3:15 pm.

Our team will be attending a special event to celebrate our Chief Deputy Treasurer, Emma Rohde, who is being recognized as one of Mid Michigan’s Emerging Leaders – 40 Under 40 for 2025! 🎉👏

We’re so proud to see this hard work and leadership honored across our region. Thank you for your understanding, and please plan your visits accordingly.

Regular office hours will resume on Thursday, November 13th.

Our office will be closed on Friday, April 18th, 2025, in conjunction with the courthouse, in observance of Good Friday. We will resume our normal operating hours on Monday, April 21, 2025.

Tomorrow, January 9, 2025 is our Show Cause Hearing @ 10 am.
If you still have 2022 taxes due and do not think you can pay them by the March 31, 2025 Foreclosure deadline we recommend you come to possibly get an extension.

Please bring in the Extension Application that came in by your personal service packet filled out along with any other financial information you would like to present to the panel.

We will be closed Thanksgiving day (11/28/24) and Friday (11/29/24). Regular hours will resume Monday December 2, 2024

‼️ Its September 16th, which means 2024 summer taxes are due! But you still have until February 28, 2025 to pay to your Township/City/Village with additional interest and/or penalty.

The Gratiot County Treasurer's Office CAN NOT accept payments for current tax until they are Delinquent March 1, 2025 or Emerson Township Summer taxes. ‼️
