Throughout his years of leadership, James has worked tirelessly to serve the citizens of Itasca, helping guide our city through growth, challenges, and many accomplishments. His commitment, integrity, and passion for our community have left a lasting impact that will be felt for years to come.

As he begins his retirement, we thank him for his dedication and wish him nothing but the best in this next chapter. Your service to the City of Itasca will not be forgotten.

Reminder: Bulk Trash Pickup is Tomorrow

The City of Itasca bulk trash pickup is scheduled for tomorrow June 9th. Please have all items placed at the curb before pickup begins.

Important: City-issued blue trash bins cannot be used for bulk pickup. If needed, you may place items in your own personal containers or bags.

Trash services will be delayed by one day this week. Residential pickup in Itasca will take place on Friday instead of the regular scheduled day.

The City of Itasca would like to inform residents that the outdoor warning siren did not activate last night as expected. We understand the importance of this system and are taking the matter seriously.

A technician has been scheduled to inspect the siren today to determine the cause of the issue and identify what repairs may be needed. If you hear the siren today, please be aware it is due to testing following repairs.

The Boil Water Notice issued on March 9, 2026, for the City of Itasca has been rescinded.

The water system has taken the necessary corrective actions, and laboratory testing has confirmed that the water now meets all regulatory standards and is safe for normal use.

Residents may resume normal water use at this time.
