🥫💚619 POUNDS AND COUNTING! 💚🥫

We are incredibly grateful for the support shown during our most recent Drive-By Food Drive!

A huge THANK YOU to our staff, their families, and members of our community who helped make this drive a success. Whether you stopped by to donate in person or sent items through our Amazon Wish List from near and far, every contribution has made a difference.

So far, we’ve weighed an incredible 619 pounds of donated food — with more still to be counted! 🙌
Your generosity is helping us continue to support individuals and families in our community, and we couldn’t do it without you.

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared our drive, and helped spread the word. 💚

🎣 Gone fishin’!

Our residents traded dry land for a day on the water and put their fishing skills to the test! From casting lines to enjoying the beautiful weather and each other’s company, it was a wonderful day of fun and relaxation. ☀️🌊

Thank you to Marian, Lin and our Friends at Temple Beth David, Commack, for their generous donation of several new backpacks filled with school supplies, plus additional supplies for the children in our care. As a new school year begins, these thoughtful gifts provide more than the tools children need to learn - they offer encouragement, confidence, and the reassurance that their community cares about them.

Today, Mercy Haven was proud to welcome the Long Island Cares Mobile Farm Market to our community! 🥕🥔🫜

Community members had the opportunity to receive fresh, nutritious produce while connecting with valuable local resources.

We were also joined by PSEG Long Island and HEALI, who were on hand to share information and resources with attendees.

A big thank you to the Marilyn Lichtman Foundation for their generous support of Mercy Haven, and Robert Brull for delivering it personally!

Their funding will help create more opportunities for our residents and families to connect with others, take part in activities and outings, build relationships, and feel a greater sense of belonging.

Because having a safe place to call home matters, and so does having people and a community to share it with. ❤️
