Did you know that Bar Harbor Fire Department provides and installs car seats to income-eligible Mainers? As the only distribution site for miles around, we want to ensure our youngest community members and neighbors stay safe on the move.

Review the requirements below and call the station to book an appointment (207-288-5533).

As extremely cold temperatures move into Maine this week, we encourage you to check in on neighbors, friends, and anyone who may need extra support.
A quick call or knock on the door can make a big difference especially for older adults, people with medical needs, and those living alone. Community resilience starts with each of us, and together we can make sure everyone stays safe, warm, and prepared.
Let’s keep Maine Ready and Resilient by looking out for one another. For a list of open warming centers visit maine.gov/mema/response-recovery/mass-care
