We are rooting for the New York Knicks this evening!

The colors of our community are blue and orange, just like the Knicks! With the Knicks leading the series 3-1, a win tomorrow night would bring home their first NBA Championship since 1973.

Let’s go Knicks! 🔵🟠

We are always happy to honor the next generation of Island Parkers!

Mayor Michael McGinty was on hand to present Samantha Guzman with a School Service Award at the annual Lincoln Orens Middle School Awards Ceremony this evening. We are so proud of all the Island Park students who were honored last evening.

The future is bright for Island Park. As we celebrate our Centennial Year, we encourage all of our students to carry forward the values that have made Island Park a great community for the past 100 years!

Yesterday, we came together to honor the retirement of Island Park Library Director Jessica Koenig. We sincerely thank her for her hard work on behalf of the residents of Island Park.

It was also a pleasure to welcome incoming Library Director Tracy Horodyski as she begins this exciting new chapter.

Mayor Michael McGinty and Trustee Barbara Volpe-Ried were pleased to join Legislator Patrick Mullaney and members of the Library Board for this special farewell and welcome gathering.

It is no secret that the Island Park Library is one of the brightest beacons of our community!

Mayor Michael McGinty is absolutely honored to be featured in a Tunnel to Towers television commercial airing nationwide alongside County Executive Bruce Blakeman and Senator Patricia Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick.

We also wish to recognize a proud son of Island Park, former Congressman Anthony D'Esposito, whose tireless efforts helped make this project a reality.

We are truly blessed that the Tunnel to Towers Foundation chose our community for this extraordinary investment.

Island Park is, and always will be, a patriotic village. We proudly honor our veterans!
