📝 A quick note: Unfortunately, when viewing the calendar, the color-coding system used to identify different towns and organizations is not visible the same way it appears on the administrator side. We understand this can make it a little more difficult to quickly distinguish which community is hosting an event. We are hopeful that in the future we can find a better solution that makes the calendar even easier for everyone to navigate and enjoy.

There is still 1 garden boxe available at the town office for anyone who would like to plant a small garden but doesn't have the ability to do so at home. Contact Libby at the town office to claim yours!

You may have noticed some new Garden Beds here at the Community Center. This project, which will provide 10 garden spaces, was coordinated by Julie Byers. Thank you to her for taking on this project, to her husband John, Carmin & Shawn Curry, Scott Perrin and Brandon Hatch for their help getting them assembled and in place. Thank you to Maine Cedar Specialty Products for the donation of the lumber for the boxes, Houlton Walmart for their donation of mulch and Jeff Brooks for his donation of soil.

Join us this June for two free wellness programs designed to support caregivers and healthy aging!

SAVVY Caregiver® Classes help family caregivers build confidence, learn practical dementia care strategies, and connect with others. Mondays, June 1–July 6, 1:00–3:00 pm.

Chair Yoga with Jenna Norton offers gentle, low-impact movement to improve strength, balance, mobility, and relaxation. Tuesdays, June 2–July 21, 10:00–11:00 am.

Both programs are free and offered in-person in Presque Isle or through participating Access Point sites. Pre-registration is required!

Thanks to the fabulous group of students from RSU 50 and Pastor Ben, the center of town is looking a lot better heading into Memorial Day weekend.
