We a wide selection of fiction and non-fiction books and puzzles for sale by donation Come in and check out the hoard!
Books will be available for sale through our Summer Fest Book Sale, and then they're gone forever.
Come visit the library between 9 and 1 any Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday through July. We'd love to see you.

Sad news.

Marjane Satrapi's Persepolis was a groundbreaking work that showed the power of graphic literature.

Persepolis is available at KPL.

Marjane Satrapi has died.

Her passing marks the loss of a leading figure of French culture and an artist deeply committed to freedom, as shown by her support for the Woman, Life, Freedom movement.

Her work Persepolis transformed an Iranian childhood into a universal tale that won over a global audience. Our thoughts are with her family, her loved ones and all those who have been inspired by her work.

Win prizes for having fun this summer!

Katahdin Public Library is hosting Summer Fun Bingo! Come in, sign up, take a bingo card, enjoy your awesome summer activities, color in 5 circles in a row on the card for BINGO, and bring the card back to the library at the end of the season for a prize!

Bingo cards will be available starting June 13th.

This program is open to kids of all ages, from the little ones all the way up to grown up kids.

It's Tuesday, and here's a friendly reminder/request to bring your healthy perennials and house plants by the library on Thursday between 9 and 1. The annual Book, Plant (and Puzzle) Sale is this Saturday!

Our PLANT SALE is this Saturday, May 30th.

If you're thinning your HEALTHY perennials OR house plants and you'd like to donate them to the sale, please bring them by the library on Thursday, May 28th between 9 and 1.
