The ONLY organized opposition to Measure R is a group of selfish Corporate Landlords like Wolf, KAMAP, Meridian, and Sierra. Measure R is about who will have power in IV, the People or the Corporations.

Isla Vistans will go to the polls on June 5 to vote on Measure R, which would levy an 8 percent tax on electricity, garbage disposal, gas, sewage and water services in Isla Vista to fund I.V.’s Community Services District (CSD).

The Corporate Landlords like Wolf, Sierra, KAMAP, Meridian, etc are spending so much to beat Measure R because they are afraid of an Isla Vista with rights, with resources, and with representation.
