Why Wait to Schedule a Sports Physical??

After April 15, 2024, all Sports Physicals are good for the 2024 - 2025 School Year!
Free up your summer and don't worry about getting your student athletes in for their sports physical!

See our HHC Flyer and fill out the sports physical form (2 pages). Send it or have your student athlete bring it to our clinic and we'll get them scheduled for their sports physical after April 15th during the school day! We will also have a gift card drawing for all student athletes who are scheduled before the end of this school year!

The Hematite Health Clinic is teaming up with UPHP (Upper Peninsula Health Plan) to spread the word about Taking Charge of Students Health! UPHP Is providing $15.00 Subway gift cards to the first 20 students with UPHP who schedule a Well-Child Visit with us. At a Well-Child visit, we check height, weight, blood pressure and heart rate. We ask about the student's health and any issues they've been dealing with. We chat about things like food, exercise and whether they need any immunizations. It's a perfect way to make sure the student is doing alright and a time for them to ask any health questions they may have.

The Hematite Health Clinic would like to focus on nutrition for the month of January. We have helpful information posted on the two bulletin boards in our hallway. Students can view the bulletin boards and fill out a nutrition quiz to qualify for a gift card drawing. We hope all students can check out the bulletin boards and learn a little about nutrition in the New Year!
