We still have middle school yearbooks available to purchase for anyone who hasn't gotten one yet. They will be sold tomorrow at lunch on a first come, first served basis.

Over the last few weeks, the Ishpeming High School Key Club has been hard at work making a positive impact in our school and community!

Students organized an Earth Day cleanup where they picked up garbage around Lake Bancroft, the Ray Leverton Memorial Park, and surrounding areas to help keep Ishpeming beautiful.

The club also gave back through several donations, including:
• $200 to the Kiwanis Club of Ishpeming to help plant a tree at Ray Leverton Memorial Park
• $200 to the Women’s Center of Marquette
• $100 to the Birchview Library for new books
• $100 to the Ishpeming High School Library

Key Club members also donated a book to every preschool student at Birchview Elementary so each child could take home a book of their own.

In addition, students helped host a middle school dance alongside the Middle School Parent Group and spread a little extra positivity by placing suckers on every locker in the high school to brighten students’ days.

We are incredibly proud of these students for their leadership, generosity, and commitment to serving others. Great job, Hematites!
