REMINDER: Construction materials DO NOT belong in the City burn pile.

The burn pile is intended for yard waste and approved natural materials only. Construction and demolition materials—including lumber, plywood, drywall, shingles, treated wood, insulation, and other building debris—must be disposed of properly.

If this continues, the City will be forced to take additional enforcement measures to prevent unauthorized dumping.

Please help us keep the burn pile available for its intended purpose and avoid creating the need for stricter enforcement.

Twenty-five years ago today, thousands of people woke up expecting an ordinary day.

Nearly 3,000 lives were lost instead.

Today we remember the lives. We honor the heroes. We grieve with the families. And we will never, ever forget.

Due to the heat, St. Albert has moved Friday night’s high school football game to a 7:30 PM kickoff.

🏈 Celebrating 20 Years! 🏆

In November 2006, the IKM Hawks beat the Wapsie Valley Warriors, 33-13 to win the Class A state tournament.

IKM-Manning would like to recognize the 2006 IKM Championship Football Team on Friday, September 11, during our home football game vs. South Central Calhoun.

🐺 Members of the 2006 team will receive FREE admission to the game and will be recognized on the field before kickoff!

📍 Meet at the north end of the track

A reminder that the dumpster at the Community Building is FOR CITY USE ONLY and is not a public disposal site.

Please DO NOT use the dumpster for cardboard boxes, yard waste, or household items such as clothing, fans, suitcases, TVs, furniture, etc.

Need to dispose of these items?

—> Yard waste can be taken to the City Dump located on the east side of town.
—> Household items can be taken to the Shelby County Landfill or contact R&S Waste to arrange pick up. 

We ask everyone to please respect this restriction. We do not want to have to take additional enforcement measures to prevent unauthorized use.
