It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Life Member Mark Jones. Mark joined our department at a young age and held many positions including Captain and Assistant Chief. While Mark was retired from the trucks he was a familiar face in the garage. It didn’t matter who was in there when mark came by, he either had an old time fire story or a hunting/fishing story… but don’t ever think he’d tell ya where he saw that buck. We’re gonna miss ya Mark. Please keep the Jones family in your thoughts and prayers as we mourn the loss of a true community icon.

Members of our Fire Dept. and PT Warrior Football team and the community once again teamed up today and did a wonderful job once again on road clean up. Thank you all for your hard work today! Also want to shout out to Penn TWP and North Huntingdon police depts. for patrolling and keeping us safe as we worked!
Hope to see you all again next year!

Today, members of the Penn-Trafford Warrior football team participated in the roadway cleanup of Paintertown Road. They teamed up with numerous community members to collect over 60 bags of trash, along 3.4 miles of roadway.

Appreciation is extended to all who attended our Children's Christmas Party this afternoon!!! We have reconfirmed with Santa that he will return next Sunday, December 21st, for a tour of the area with us. Departure from the station will be at 6:00 p.m.

We want to congratulate firefighters Jason Lazar and Emily Painter on graduating.

Emily joined the dept. at 14 as a Jr firefighter and has her FF1 pro board and working on her FF2 pro board.

Jason joined after the loss of his brother (FF Jacob Lazar) to continue what his brother wanted to achieve and hit the ground running. He has recently passed his FF1 pro board practicals and awaiting his written test results. He will be continuing on to his FF2 after he gets his results.

We are grateful to have such young members who are dedicated to the dept. and the community. We all are very grateful for the time and hard work you have given to help others.

Last night, Penn Township fire companies took part in a night burn at the Westmoreland County Community College PSTC!

Crews faced a variety of realistic scenarios, from a vehicle fire that extended into a home to a house fire with reported entrapment.

Our junior firefighters had a unique opportunity to observe fire growth and flow paths from the outside, giving them a front-row seat to how fire behaves in real time.

This training gave all members a chance to sharpen their skills, and it also allowed our newer officers to practice and strengthen their command abilities.

A huge thank you to the Instructors and all the Penn Township Fire Company members who made this night possible! Your dedication and hard work continue to make a difference.
