Congratulations to our teachers and principals for having completed Reading Academies this school year! The Texas Reading Academies are an extensive, state-mandated professional development program for kindergarten through grade 3 educators and principals. Designed to implement the Science of Teaching Reading (STR), they equip teachers with research-backed, systematic strategies for foundational literacy to drive student reading proficiency. STR is an additional certification requirement and today we celebrated and acknowledged our commitment to student learning and our professional accomplishments!

The countdown is officially ON! Our 2026 ADSY Summer Camp kicks off on Tuesday, May 26th, and we can’t wait to welcome our campers for five unforgettable weeks of learning, creativity, and adventure!

From building core academic skills in reading and math to exploring our creative weekly themes, this summer is going to be packed with growth and memory-making.

Manara Academy will be participating in the Seamless Summer Option (SSO) this summer from
May 27th through June 30th. We will provide Breakfast and lunch to school aged children from
ages 1 – 18 without charge on a first come first serve basis. All meals will be the same meal
pattern for grade groups PreK through 8th grade at the following locations and times:
Manara Academy Arlington Stem: 6101 South Collins St. Arlington Texas 76018.
Irving Elementary: 8201 Tristar Drive, Irving Texas 75063
Phone: 972-304-1155 select appropriate extension
Breakfast hours are between 7:30 and 8:30 AM
Lunch hours are between 11:00 AM and Noon

Great News!
We are incredibly proud to announce that our school earned 🥉 3rd Place in the Global LanguageNut Competition, competing against schools from around the world!
Even more exciting, FIVE of our French students ranked among the Top 30 students worldwide!
This amazing achievement reflects the dedication, hard work, and excellence of our students, as well as the continuous support and encouragement from our families and staff.

We have extended the registration deadline for the ADSY 2026 Summer Camp program. Please make sure to complete the registration form using the link below prior to May 26, 2026, which is the first day of the summer program.

🕢 Program Hours:
Monday–Friday
Drop-Off & Breakfast: 7:30 AM – 8:00 AM
Dismissal: 2:30 PM

🔥 This year’s summer theme is:
“S’more Fun!”

🚫 No School:
June 19, 2026

Please note the following important eligibility requirements:

✅ This program is ONLY for current Manara Academy students.
❌ The program is NOT open to siblings attending other school districts.

✅ Eligible students must currently be enrolled in:
Pre-K 4 through 8th Grade
❌ Current Pre-K 3 students are NOT eligible to participate.

As Teacher Appreciation Week comes to an end, our hearts are full of gratitude and joy.
This week was filled with love, appreciation, smiles, and unforgettable moments celebrating the amazing teachers who pour their hearts into shaping our students every day.
