Meet Bennie. 💚

When Bennie arrived at Ashford Hall, he could walk only about 20 feet with a walker and maximum assistance. After three months of personalized rehabilitation, he was walking more than 150 feet with a walker, managing most dressing and grooming tasks, and even walking short distances in his room with a cane.

Bennie’s individualized program brought together Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy, while our in-house dialysis services allowed him to receive treatment without the added stress of transportation to an outside dialysis facility.

And his care didn’t stop at discharge planning. Our team coordinated home health and community dialysis services to help support his transition back home and continued progress.

We’re proud to celebrate Bennie and the determination behind his remarkable progress.

Smiles, laughter, and a little friendly competition!

Our residents in the male secure unit had an absolute blast playing noodle ball today! Activities like these aren’t just fun, they encourage movement, teamwork, socialization, and plenty of laughter. Seeing the joy on their faces reminds us that every moment of connection matters.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to create meaningful experiences that bring out smiles and make every day a little brighter.

Before they became someone's patient, they were someone's teacher, coach, parent, veteran, artist, gardener, or best friend.

Sharing those stories helps caregivers build relationships that go beyond medical care.

Our newest blog explores why personal history matters just as much as medical history.

Sometimes, it’s the little things that bring the biggest smiles. 💕

Our ladies in the secure unit recently spent time with our new lifelike dolls, and the joy, comfort, and nurturing moments they sparked were truly special to witness. From gentle conversations to warm smiles, these meaningful moments remind us that connection comes in many beautiful forms. 🩷

At Ashford Hall, we’re always looking for creative, person-centered ways to bring comfort, engagement, and moments of happiness to those we care for. ✨
