The county has lost another valuable public servant today. Dustin (Duck) Miller unit #324 was always there to help people in need. He was a member of Hargett Fire Dept, Millers Creek Fire Dept. and Estill County Rescue Squad. Very well known in the community and will be greatly missed. In the days to come please keep his family and loved ones in your prayers. Rest easy brother. We will take it from here.

Huge thanks to Jeremy Urekew. He had seen where we was in need of ropes and kindly ordered new ropes to donate to our department. Jeremy is the leader of Red River Rescue, where 3 of our members got our rope rescue tech certification. Jeremy and his team just competed in Spain and placed 8th place in the world rope rescue competition. Thank you so much for the kind donation. We owe you one brother.
