Good news: California is on track to meet our 2030 conservation goals. My 30x30 bill last year codified our commitment to open spaces, and today we're following through on our promise to future generations.

California has now conserved 25.2% of its lands and 16.2% of its coastal waters with a little more than five years left to conserve 30% of each, officials say.
