Thanksgiving dinner sign up begins this Wednesday (09/02) at Harvest for the Hungry starting at 9:00 am. A separate desk will be set up from the regular registration ladies. Each signee will be given a card to present at the distribution in November. We will cut off the number at 550, 50 more than last year. It is vital you hold on to this card. Put it under a magnet on your refrigerator and set an alarm on you phone then forget about it. See you soon. Much love.

The state has has decided to stop the Thursday afternoon distribution for children up to 18 years of age. This was to stop 08/14 so it only impacts the last two weeks. We haven't been given a specific reason but my guess is the traffic situation we create in the downtown area. I apologize for an inconvenience but there will be no distribution this Thursday or thereafter.

HUGE shout out to BPO Elk 177 Lodge for their $4,000 donation to Harvest for the Hungry for our food budget. During 2025 the pantry spent $63,898 to feed 19,245 people. The equals $3.32 per person for three days of food. The summer months are the toughest for Harvest as schools are out so every little donation helps. This donation helps a whole lot. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
