"COLUMBUS, Ohio- February 27, 2017 – The Convention of States Project will host a “Citizen Activists’ Day,” Tuesday, March 7, beginning at 10:00 a.m., in the Ohio Statehouse, Museum Gallery. Please join us!
The purpose of the event is to focus attention on the companion resolutions introduced this past week in the Ohio Legislature (SJR 1 and HJR 2.) If these resolutions pass in the House and the Senate, the State of Ohio will be counted among the 34 states that are required to pass the resolution before the US Congress will convene a convention of the states.
The speakers and honored guests of the event will be Mark Meckler, President & founder of Citizens for Self-Governance, and Kenneth Clark, Regional Director of the Convention of States Project. Sponsors and co-sponsors of the companion resolutions will, also, have the opportunity to present their views and express their support. Steve Stechschulte, Director of Convention of States-Ohio, along with COS volunteers from across the Buckeye State, will be in attendance."
We need as many to show up as possible.
