I'm calling it the "Ponytail Power".
All three members of the AV Career Tech FFA Grassland Evaluation Team have ponytails. The team placed 1st at the Southeast District Grassland Evaluation Competition. Individually they were ranked 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

Thank you Arcadia Valley Elementary School for allowing the AV Career Tech FFA to help out with your Grandparents' day. This was one of the best events I've ever seen at AV!
We had 395 elementary students and their grandparents visit the petting zoo at our new barn.
Wish I would have had the kids get more pics, but thank you to the 12 FFA members who showed up to help and brought animals. We had a micro pig (Hairy Porker), chickens, sheep, rabbits and Sonny the barn cat.

AV Career Tech's CTSOs are starting the year off with the Credo "Make an Impact!"
Just like we do our BBQ, we are going hot and fast with a fundraiser for our local Backpack Impact program. If our FBLA, FFA, and SkillsUSA members donate at least a combined $100 by Thursday (3rd day of school), Mr. Pursley will kiss our school barn big - Hairy Porker.
I'm confident the kids will come through so I had Mr. Pursley doing some warm up exercises with Hairy today.
