State Farm and Marla Shamion have teamed up with our friend Sparky to provide great handouts for our annual open house/fire prevention! Each year we look forward to hosting our community at our fire hall! Please join us tomorrow night, Wednesday October 8th, from 5 to 7pm at our fire hall (640 N. 9th Ave, Iron River) for truck rides, kids activities, fire safety materials, and fun for the whole family!

West Iron County Fire Department is holding a Fill the Boot Drive today from 9:00am to 1:00pm. You will find our members accepting donations at a number of locations around Iron River such as the intersection of US2 and 189, Family Foods, The Pasty Corner, McDonalds, and SuperOne. As always we are humbled and grateful for our community’s continued support. Have a safe Labor Day weekend!

Reminder!!! Come down to the WICFD this evening (Monday October 21st) for our Annual Fire Prevention open house! There are a few minor changes to the original flyer we posted, but we are now happy to announce that we are bringing back the FIRE TRUCK RIDES!!
So come on down from 5-7 pm. Meet your local firefighters, enjoy the bounce house and check out some trucks! The weather could not be any better! Like previous years, we have partnered with State Farm Insurance and our good friend Sparky to provide great handouts that include fire prevention education materials!

It's that time of year again where we are hosting our annual fire prevention open house! Please join us Monday October 21st from 5 to 7pm at our fire hall (640 N. 9th Ave, Iron River) for an evening of fun and fire safety! We'll have free hot chocolate and cookies while they last, a bounce house, fire extinguisher training, and more! All are welcome!
