This week, we will be sharing information from our 2025 Annual Report on each of the five statewide projects. Today, we are starting with Wisconsin Lions Camp.

In 2025, our team continued to grow, and we returned to serving over 1,000 Campers, free of charge. Highlights from the year included welcoming Erin to the year-round team as Program Supervisor, adding international staff to the Camp seasonal staff team, and seeing a 9% growth in Camper attendance year over year.

Thank you to our Camp Office Team of Andrea, Michelle, Amanda, and Erin for all of the work that you do to make Camp run! We also want to thank Tammy, Vickie, Michelle, Jenii, and the dedicated team in the kitchen for keeping all of our Camper and Staff bellies full throughout the summer. A big shout-out to Pete, Todd, and Mark for fixing all of the things that we break throughout the facility and keeping everything in working order, and to Nancy & Carrie for keeping all of our buildings clean. To the WLF Office Staff, especially Liz and Julie, who handle a lot of the behind-the-scenes paperwork, thank you! Finally, thank you to all of the seasonal staff, MD27 Lions of Wisconsin, supporters, donors, campers, families, and friends for being a part of the magic of Wisconsin Lions Camp.

As you can see, there are so many people who help make Camp run! We are looking forward to another amazing summer in just a couple of weeks!

If you weren't able to attend our Annual Meeting at the MD27 Lions of Wisconsin State Convention in person, we announced the results of the 2025-26 Deer Hides for WI Lions Camp Collection. In total, $122,176 was raised through the collection of deer hides, tails, and the sale of deer hide gloves.

We cannot say thank you enough to all of the Lions Clubs and Collection Site Hosts who spent countless hours salting deer hides and transporting them to pick up locations, to the hunters for being generous with your donations, to the bars and restaurants who used our deer hide coasters to help spread the word, to our supporters for helping to spread the word, and to our WLF Staff, especially our Facilities Team, who does so much work to make this Collection run. Stay tuned for the opening of the 2026-27 collection in September.

πŸ’› Kindness never goes out of style. πŸ’™
Every time Lions step up to serve, support a neighbor, or bring hope to someone in need, we wear kindness proudly. Our traditional Lions yellow vest represents compassion, inclusion, and service in action.

Together, we can create communities where kindness leads the way. 🌟
