🚒 A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR IPFD CADETS! 🚒

The Iowa Park Fire Department would like to take a moment to recognize and thank our Cadet Firefighters for all of their hard work and dedication.

Our cadets have been a tremendous help behind the scenes, helping get our trucks cleaned up and back in service, as well as making sure drinks are iced down and ready for the firefighters working on the line. Their willingness to step up, work hard, and support our firefighters does not go unnoticed.

These young men and women are learning what it means to serve their community, work as a team, and support their fellow firefighters. We are proud to have them as part of the Iowa Park Fire Department family! 👨‍🚒🔥

❤️🚒 A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING COMMUNITY! 🚒❤️
The Iowa Park Volunteer Fire Department would like to sincerely thank everyone who has shown their love and support while our crews have been working the Highland Fire.
The generosity of our community has been truly incredible. Thank you to everyone who donated water, Gatorade, food, snacks, and other supplies to help keep our firefighters going. Your kindness means more than you know, and we are extremely grateful for each and every donation.
Tonight, all crews have returned home to rest. Fire personnel will regroup in the morning and return to the area to continue mop-up operations and monitor the fire scene. You will continue to see fire personnel and equipment in the area throughout the day.
The area will be closely monitored throughout the night by the Sheriff’s Department and City Police patrols.
Thank you, Iowa Park, for always standing behind your firefighters and supporting us when our community needs us most. Without your love, prayers, generosity, and support, we could not do what we do. ❤️
Stay safe, and please continue to keep everyone working the fire in your thoughts and prayers.

I would like to give a shout out to Wichita West Volunteer Fire Department, Electra Fire, Iowa Park Mayor Jeff Pogatshnik, council woman Sherrie Jo, IPFD retiree Steve Marshall, Iowa Park Volunteer Fire Department and the citizens of Iowa Park that joined us this morning for our 9/11 Walk around Gordon Lake. We greatly appreciate everyone's support as we walked to remember the lives lost and the lives that were forever changed 25 years ago.
