🚨Firefighter Spotlight 🚨
This week, we are proud to recognize Captain Sara Caston for her outstanding dedication, professionalism, and commitment to the fire service.

It is often said that a picture is worth a thousand words, and that sentiment is especially fitting when highlighting Captain Caston’s remarkable accomplishments. Sara made history as the Iowa Park Fire Department’s first female firefighter to earn certification through the State Firefighters’ and Fire Marshals’ Association of Texas.

In addition to achieving the certifications highlighted in the accompanying photo, Sara has earned certifications as a Fire Officer III and Fire Instructor III, and she also holds an EMT-Basic license. Her commitment to professional development reflects her passion for serving both the department and the community at the highest level.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Sara enjoys cooking, training horses, and spending as much time as possible with her seven-month-old grandson, Clay.

Please join us in congratulating Captain Caston on her achievements and thanking her for her continued service, leadership, and dedication to the Iowa Park Fire Department.

That time of year has arrived once more. As grass fire season commences, we kindly request donations of bottled water and Gatorade to ensure our firefighters remain hydrated. For those unable to donate in kind, monetary contributions can be made via our Venmo.

This weeks Firefighter Spotlight is Stephanie Wooten.
Stephanie has been a member of this department for well over 10 years. She heads up the Kids Christmas, is the secretary and treasurer for the department and a vital member. Stephanie is Wild Land certified and is always ready to step up and help members of the community. Thank you Firefighter Stephanie Wooten for your continued service to our community.

This past week, 10 members of the Iowa Park Fire Department successfully completed their HazMat Awareness & Operations class through Tarrant County College. Congrats to all!
