Friends of Calkins Nature Area has some exciting news!

The board graciously accepted an $8,300 grant from the 100+ Women Who Care in Hardin County. This generous support will go directly toward renovating the great room at Calkins Nature Area, helping create an even more welcoming and functional space for our community to gather, learn, and enjoy nature.

We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of organizations that believe in enhancing and preserving this special place!
