Today we celebrate Travis, our DAISY Award recipient, whose remarkable dedication and empathy made a profound impact on the care of a Veteran experiencing an unimaginable loss.
Travis went above and beyond—spending countless hours building trust, offering calm reassurance, and preventing crises through his steady presence. On June 8, during his scheduled vacation, he returned to ensure the Veteran could attend his wife’s funeral virtually, providing comfort throughout one of life’s hardest moments.
His actions reflect every ICARE value and highlight the true heart of nursing: compassion, advocacy, and unwavering commitment to those we serve.

Last week we had the honor of celebrating Army Veteran Francis Carman's 100th birthday with his family and care team.
Francis joined the military when he was 18 and spent time in the Philippines during his deployment.

Starting this month we will be rolling out QR codes on prescription labels, and we will be turning off automatic paper printing at the beginning of October.

💌 Please keep an eye out for more information.

💊We will also be providing counseling at window pick-up to Veterans during the month.

We kicked off the week by recognizing Navy Veteran Donald Mancini’s 100th birthday. Joining him were his son and daughter-in-law. Donald enjoys spending his time with his 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
