Well, this seems like a great time to introduce a new member to the BBBS team: Camryn Arps! Camryn joins us as our Director of Development and Marketing. We thought it would be fitting for Camryn to be the next installment in our "50 Faces" campaign, as you will surely be seeing her face all over our community!

Camryn shares:
"What drew me to work at BBBSJC is knowing that every relationship, partnership, and contribution helps create life changing opportunities for youth in our community. In Development and Marketing, I have the ability to help connect donors, partners, and supporters to a mission that creates a meaningful and lasting impact. Having the opportunity to be a part of that impact is what motivates me every day."

And her advice? "People should get involved with BBBSJC because it's one of the most direct ways to make a difference in a child's life and in yours. Everyone has something valuable to offer."

We were so excited to partner with Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa to present a "BIG Futures" event! Our Bigs and Littles got to hear from three career speakers:

Andrew Evans: Architect at and Big Brother to Malachi
Dr. Kirk Sidey: Dermatological Surgeon at the University of Iowa Health Care and Big Brother to Amari
Erin Jehle: VP of Learning Development at and former Big Sister and former BBBS Board Member

We want our Littles to be able to imagine and dream about everything that is possible in their future- and are so grateful to their Bigs for helping them take concrete steps to achieve their goals.
