CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS! On September 11, TRAIL will join thousands of Americans on the National Day of Service and Remembrance by helping older adults throughout Johnson County. From 1 to 3 PM that Friday, teams of volunteers will complete yard and garden projects at the homes of TRAIL members who need an extra hand. A few hours of volunteer service not only improves the appearance and safety of a home but also provides reassurance that someone cares. For more info and to sign up, just click the link below. In this monthly series, Heritage staff will be onsite tomorrow, Thursday, Aug. 20, from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Coralville Public Library, 1401 5th St., Coralville. They can discuss care services, Medicaid questions, elder abuse concerns, and whatever else is on your mind. No appointment needed and there is no cost for Heritage AAA services.
