Congratulations to the West High Symphony Strings ensemble on being selected to perform at the 80th Annual Midwest Clinic - International Band and Orchestra Conference in Chicago! The Midwest Clinic brings together more than 18,000 attendees from across the United States and 40 countries and is one of the world’s premier instrumental music education conferences.

West High Symphony Strings is one of only six high school orchestras from across the country selected to perform this year - an incredible honor and recognition of the talent and dedication of our students and staff. This accomplishment also marks only the fourth time an Iowa orchestra has been selected to perform at The Midwest Clinic and the first time in nearly 30 years!

We are incredibly proud of our students and grateful for the teachers, families, composers, guest artists, and community members who have helped make this opportunity possible! 🎶👏
