We are so excited for the Princess Palooza tonight! Here are a few tips to help you have the best night with your little girls:
💜Come as dressed up as you’d like - most guests come in their fanciest clothes but you are welcome in whatever you are most comfortable in!
🩷Enter through the doors on the Northeast side marked “The Hive”
💜Coats can be placed on the long tables as you enter the commons area
🩷Bathrooms are located in the hallway that you enter through
💜Most importantly, enjoy this time dancing the night away and making precious memories with your girls!

This Friday, December 12th, all Teens are invited to a free Jane Austen themed ball, complete with dance instruction, decorations, refreshments and more. It will be held in the City of Iona Building.

Come to the costume swap at the Ammon Library tomorrow. Bring old costumes and get a new one!

How it works:
Do you have costumes sitting around that your kids have outgrown—
or maybe you’re ready for something new this year? Bring them to us!
Drop off gently used costumes (all sizes welcome!) at the library starting September 20th.
Hats, props, clothes, capes, etc. are acceptable.
Receive a swap ticket for each costume you donate.
Don’t have a costume to swap? Bring a can of food to donate to the food bank in exchange.
Pet costumes will be accepted too!

Let’s keep costumes out of landfills and give them new life while helping
every family enjoy a fun, budget-friendly Halloween!
Left over costumes will be donated to local charity organizations.

FOIL will have a booth at the Iona Elementary Fall Carnival tomorrow night, Oct. 7th from 5-7pm. We will have a game with prizes for the kids to play and you can enter a raffle to win a $40 Winnie and Moe’s gift card by joining our email list. Hope to see you there!

The FOIL board is looking for a treasurer. Responsibilities include tracking money brought in, managing the bank account and reimbursements, filing taxes and attending board meetings about every other month. If you or someone you know is interested in this please comment below or send us a message. Volunteering with FOIL is a great way to get involved and give back to our community.

*Edited to add an estimate of how much time you would be volunteering:
1-2 hours per month tops. The only time it would be higher would be doing taxes once per year im September and if you choose to volunteer your time with other FOIL projects like the Princess Palooza.
