๐Ÿด๐Ÿ’œ Something exciting is coming to the table! ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿด
We're thrilled to introduce Fork It Forward, a new monthly dining fundraiser benefiting CASA.
Each month, we'll partner with a local restaurant where you can enjoy great food, connect with friends, and help support survivors in our community. A portion of proceeds from participating restaurants will be donated directly to CASA.
โœจ Good food. Greater purpose.
โœจ Dine out. Give back. Change lives.
Stay tuned for our first restaurant announcement and event details!

It's our fearless leader's birthday today!

The world of domestic violence can be very dark, and very terrifying.

Rane is an absolute light for all of us. She works tirelessly connecting our community, ensuring everthing runs smoothly here, and standing up for survivors helping them move safely forward in their lives.

Please join us in wishing her the happiest birthday! We will pass along all messages left for her! ๐ŸŒŸ

Thank you to Protecting Paws For Life and to all of those that donate and support them.

These donations are vital to keeping survivorsโ€™ pets healthy and fed during their stay with us.
Often times, knowing they can possibly bring their pets with them to the safe house is what helps them make the phone call to reach safety.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated! โค๏ธ

Because of your generosity, we were able to place a much-needed supply order for CASA Citrus. Your support helps ensure that resources are available for the animals and people who rely on them.

We are incredibly grateful for our compassionate community and for everyone who continues to make a difference through their donations, shares, and encouragement.

Thank you for helping us help others! ๐Ÿพ

With the skyrocketing costs of living, housing costs have gone up over 300% in some areas of Florida.

This May, as a part of Affordable Housing Month, we wanted to remind our community that having access to affordable housing is a big part of supporting survivors of domestic violence who might otherwise not be able to leave their abusive situations as they have nowhere else to go, and can't afford to live on their own.

In absolutely desperate times, survivors may end up without a place to live at all, having to chose between two extreme situations.

Here at CASA, in addition to our safehouse services where we can provide emergency shelter for those living in a domestic violence situation, we also assist survivors with finding safe place to live, or at least being able to get to safety with a trusted friend or family member.

If you or someone you know is facing a housing emergency because of a domestic violence situation, please reach out to us. We are here to help!

Today is National Creativity Day!

Did you know that neuroscience has shown that creative thinking can help to make your mind stronger?

Creativity can take all sorts of different forms. Not everyone who creates makes artwork. Creating things like math equations, spreadsheets, budget plans - those are all creative works as well and still count!

And remember, if you aren't feeling creative, it might be because you haven't created anything lately! What is something you can create today?

Tomorrow is National Creativity Day!

What is your favorite thing to create? Remember that creating things doesn't have to mean making something physically. It can also be creating a feeling for other people, creating space, creating a dream.

If you haven't created anything lately, that might be why you don't feel creative. What better way to get back into creating than to join in National Creativity Day tomorrow and create something!
