🎉 Celebrating 20 Years of Service! 🎉

Today we are proud to celebrate Rosa Scalzi, our Chief of Staff, on 20 years of dedicated service with the Citrus County Property Appraiser's Office.

As a member of the Property Appraiser's senior leadership team, Rosa plays an integral role in the success of our organization. From overseeing our budget, hiring, human resources, Administrative, and Customer Service departments to helping guide the day-to-day operations of the office, her leadership touches nearly every aspect of what we do.

Over the past 20 years, Rosa has seen and experienced just about everything our office has faced. Through it all, one thing has remained constant: her ability to lead with grace under pressure. No matter how challenging the situation, Rosa remains calm, thoughtful, and focused, bringing confidence and clarity to those around her. She has an incredible ability to find solutions, support her team, and keep our office moving forward.

Beyond her many responsibilities, Rosa is someone our staff knows they can always count on. She leads with professionalism, compassion, and a genuine commitment to the people around her. Whether offering guidance, making difficult decisions, or simply being there when someone needs support, Rosa has earned the respect of everyone who has had the privilege of working alongside her. Her steady leadership, wisdom, and unwavering dedication have helped shape the culture of our office and made a lasting impact on both our employees and the citizens of Citrus County.

Office Closure:
Both our Inverness and Crystal River offices will be closed Monday, September 7th, in observance of Labor Day.

We will reopen for normal business hours on Tuesday, September 8th.

The Taxing Authorities which levy property taxes against your property will soon hold PUBLIC HEARINGS to adopt budgets and tax rates for the next year. The purpose of the PUBLIC HEARINGS is to receive opinions from the general public and to answer questions on the proposed tax change and budget PRIOR TO TAKING FINAL ACTION. Each taxing authority may AMEND OR ALTER its proposals at the hearing.
