Town of Inola - Animal Control

Inola Animal Control will post all animals caught in city limits here before being taken to Catoosa. Inola Animal Control will only hold animals for 72 hours.

We are NOT a No-Kill Shelter but we do work with Catoosa Animal Shelter and other no kill shelters if they have space available for the animal.
* Inola Residents in city limits are only allowed to own, harbor, or shelter three (3) dogs and three (3) cats.
*All residents are required to pay a one time registration fee of $15 for every male or female dog and or cat more than 6 months of age. This is to assure that we can get your animal back to you if it becomes lost.

We have 6 puppies that were found dumped. 5 girls and one boy. Please contact Inola Police department to talk to someone about adoption or fostering. We can not keep these babies past Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

Please share to help them find homes or a safe spot until they can find their forever family.

He was adopted first thing Monday morning! Thank you everyone for sharing and helping us get these babies adopted🐶🐾

We have until monday morning to find this guys home or forever family. We hate this part of it but unfortunately we cant hold him any longer!🥺 please help us find his home!

✨Apollo has found his forever home✨

Meet Apollo🐶
This sweet gentle giant was surrendered to us due to no fault of his own. So, he is on the hunt for his forever family now.
He is an older intact male, no history of shot records, unsure of his breed but we believe he is part mastiff of some kind, he knows basic commands and is extremely gentle when taking treats and meeting people! If you are interested please contact 918.543.8780!

‼️Unfortunately, we are a kill shelter and this guy has until Tuesday to find a loving home‼️

Inola Citizens,
Due to the complaints of damage to property, the Inola Police Department worked with the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation Officials to put the turkeys down. Inola Police Dept. and other city officials were getting complaints on the issue since November. There has been reports of cars and home damage due to these turkeys.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.
