Leanna Hicks Library / Inkster Public Library Proud member of THE LIBRARY NETWORK (TLN). Leanna Hicks Public Library of Inkster is a proud member of The Library Network (TLN).

One of the first round libraries, the Leanna Hicks Public Library of Inkster was dedicated September 24, 1960 by New York Governor Nelson Rockefeller (future 41st Vice-President of the United States). Located on a hill overlooking a forest and river, its floor-to-ceiling glass walls are just one of the reasons why architect Kael Nelson considered this beautiful building his greatest work. Formerly

a branch of the Wayne County Library, the Leanna Hicks Public Library of Inkster became a city library on July 1, 2010. We extend the same borrowing privileges that other TLN libraries extend to us.
