🚓⛽ SERVE & PROTECT… AND SOMETIMES REFUEL! ⛽🚓

Last night, one of our Inkster Police Department night shift officers responded to a stranded motorist who had an unexpected meeting with the “Empty” line on their gas gauge. Our officer stepped in and helped get the vehicle fueled up and back on the road safely.

While law enforcement is often associated with arrests and enforcement, moments like these are a reminder that our officers are also here to serve the community in many different ways. Whether it’s helping someone in need, checking on a resident, assisting during emergencies, or lending a hand when life throws a curveball, our commitment to the community goes beyond the badge.

Last night’s lesson: If your gas light comes on, it’s not a challenge. It’s a warning.

Great work by our night shift team for continuing to make a positive difference, one gallon at a time!
