Today marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. We stop to remember the lives that were lost in New York City, Shanksville, and Arlington.

We honor the incredible courage of the first responders who ran toward danger, the ordinary citizens who performed extraordinary acts of heroism, and the countless families whose lives were altered in an instant.

A quarter-century has passed, but the strength, resilience, and unity displayed in the aftermath of that day remain a powerful reminder of what connects us.

Whether you spend today in reflection, attending a local memorial, or performing an act of service, we invite you to join us in honoring the memory of those we lost and the enduring spirit of community that carried us through.

Pennsylvania families deserve better than a return to COVID-era government overreach, especially when proposed regulations raise concerns about parental rights, privacy, and civil liberties. The Shapiro administration should withdraw these regulations and respect reasonable limits on government power.

Pennsylvania families deserve better than a return to COVID-era government overreach.

The Shapiro administration has proposed Department of Health regulations that raise serious concerns about parental rights, privacy, civil liberties and the limits of government power, including troubling provisions involving students and families.

We learned important lessons during COVID. We should not repeat those mistakes. I am calling on the Shapiro administration to withdraw these regulations and encourage you to make your voice heard.

Protecting public health should never mean giving government unlimited authority to enter our homes, access private information or question children behind their parents’ backs.
