INGLESIDE, TEXAS — September 4, 2026

The City of Ingleside is pleased to announce that the Boil Water Notice previously issued for the City of Ingleside has been lifted.

Following the water main break and subsequent loss of water pressure, the City was required to issue a Boil Water Notice as a precaution to protect the health and safety of residents. City crews and the Ingleside Public Works Department worked diligently to repair the issue and restore the water system.

Required water quality testing has now been completed, and results confirm that the water meets all necessary state and federal drinking water standards. Residents may now resume normal use and consumption of their water.

The City of Ingleside would like to thank its residents, businesses, and the entire community for their patience, understanding, and cooperation throughout this situation.

The City also extends its appreciation to the Ingleside Public Works Department and everyone who worked tirelessly to repair the water system and ensure the safety of our community.

BOIL WATER NOTICE – City of Ingleside

September 1, 2026

Due to a loss of water pressure caused by a water main break, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the City of Ingleside Public Water System (PWS #2050002) to issue a Boil Water Notice for all customers.

Until further notice, residents should boil water before using it for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or other human consumption purposes.

Bring water to a vigorous rolling boil for two minutes, then allow it to cool before use.

Bottled water or another suitable source may also be used.

Children, seniors, and individuals with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable and should take special precautions.

The City of Ingleside will notify residents as soon as the water is safe and the Boil Water Notice has been rescinded.
