Little Sluggers Baseball and Softball is coming to La Quinta.

Players can sharpen baseball skills with instruction from La Quinta coaching staff, learn fundamentals, build confidence, and develop their game in a supportive environment. Participants should bring their own equipment. Classes meet Wednesdays from 4–5 p.m. at La Quinta Community Park

Our epic Wiener Dog Race returns and this year, it's on Halloween.

This Paws-tively adorable event includes races, as well as a costume contest with an award for prize awarded for “Best Dressed Pup.”

The event takes place on Saturday, October 31st at the Palm Desert Civic Center Park Amphitheater.

🍂Fall has arrived! Our Fall Art Program, for ages 5-12, offers an opportunity to get creative and have fun! 🍂

Classes will be led by an instructor providing step-by-step instruction on how to create your very own masterpiece. All supplies will be provided, and at the end of each class, participants will be able to take their completed project home.

From sports and swim lessons to camps, arts, and senior programs, there's something for every age and every interest. We wish you a Happy Labor Day! DRD facilities will be closed on Labor Day (Monday 9/7).

However, the Golf Center of Palm Desert will be open Labor Day from 6:30am-9pm.
