Today is Mental Health Action Day, and here at the Pike Township Trustee’s Office, we want to remind our community that mental health affects every family, every workplace, and every neighborhood right here in Pike.

Awareness is a great start, but today is all about turning that awareness into real, meaningful action. đź’š

Because conversations matter. Checking in matters. Supporting one another matters.

Whether it’s a big step or a small gesture, every single action makes a difference. Here is how you can participate:

Check in with a friend, neighbor, or family member. A simple "How are you really doing?" goes a long way.

Encourage open dialogue in your workplace, church, or social groups to help break the stigma.

Prioritize your own wellness. Take a walk, practice deep breathing, or step away from your screens.

Share resources with others so no one in our township feels like they have to struggle alone.

Together, Pike Township, we can create lasting change—one conversation and one action at a time.
