Fountain Square Neighborhood Association is a neighborhood association on the near southeast side of Indianapolis. Fountain Square is one of Indy's most historic and vibrant cultural districts.

At Neighbor Power Indy they will lead a workshop called "Creating the Conditions for Engagement: A Better Way to Attract, Involve, and Empower Your Community".

The President of the association, Dakota Pawlicki , discussed what attendees can expect at their Neighbor Power Indy workshop on Saturday, July 25th.

"I'm looking forward to sharing methods and tactics to help neighborhood leaders get more people involved and grow their neighborhood organizations. Too often neighborhood work falls to the same handful of volunteers. There are ways to distribute leadership and grow a neighborhood's social infrastructure that leads to continuous and sustained change.

The presentation brings in theory, real examples, and tools that communities can use. This isn't just a "follow our example" presentation. Each person will leave with real tools and ideas that can be applied to their community, helping each neighborhood become more uniquely itself."

It's hard to believe that we are almost a month into our Legacy Allies program!

Recently, participants from Martindale-Brightwood, Northwest Landing, and Norwood participated in a Appreciative Inquiry and Servant Leadership Training.

Neighbors discussed how to shift questions into ones that spark curiosity and collaboration and how to model leadership that is rooted in service to others.

INRC Board Vice President and Near West Community Builder, Carlena Moses, joined us to co-facilitate this reflective workshop.

We are so appreciative of the work and discussion of these neighbors and look forward to their continued involvement in the program!

Rising Leaders are people who have demonstrated leadership by supporting and embracing members of their community.

Greatriarchs, coined by Harrison Center are people who have helped mold and write the story of a neighborhood.

Soul Care Coaching, LLC provides coaching for individuals and teams helping them discover their purpose, passions, and goals.

At Neighbor Power Indy they will lead a workshop called "Building Meaningful Relationships ".

Soul Care Coach, Brittany Wayman, discussed what attendees can expect at their Neighbor Power Indy workshop on Saturday, July 25th.

"I'm most excited to create space for people to reflect on the quality of their relationships and reconnect with what truly fosters meaningful connection. I look forward to sharing simple, practical tools that help people feel more seen, heard, and valued in both their personal, professional and community relationships.

I hope this session equips participants with the confidence and awareness to show up more intentionally in their relationships by leading with empathy, curiosity, and care. My desire is that these small yet measurable shifts ripple outward, strengthening trust, connection, and a deeper sense of belonging across our community".
