A week after the community members packed the IMPD budget hearing to demand justice for Dalys Jett and accountability from a the lying killing police, the police still ask for $400 million in 2027 from the city. Jett’s family continues to dispute IMPD’s account and has demanded the release of the full, unedited body-camera footage. Chief Tanya Terry defended the department’s shifting account and the City County Council chair Leroy Robinson reacted to the outrage to her claims by siccing the Sheriff’s deputies on the people to remove them. Those like Jamaal Shabazz were shoved out the door and to the ground and public comment points out the hypocrisy form both the police and the council, while the family of Dalys Jett demands the full, unedited footage and prosecution of those responsible. The people demand accountability, Justice for Dalys Jett!
