IDAAC Indy IDAAC Indy is dedicated to the advancement and empowerment of African Americans in the planning, decision making, electoral efforts, and overall progress.

The Indiana Democrat African American Caucus is charged with the creation and implementation of political and educational programs that empower African Americans to be primary stakeholders in the Democratic Party. The organization, founded in 1972, promotes active participation of African Americans in local, state, and national levels of the Democratic process, supporting the rights of the African Americans to play an integral role in governmental and political leadership.
