Today and last week, StatFlight 2 had the opportunity to spend some time with the campers at Seymour Police Department’s School Resource Officer Camp, and we were honored to be included in such a great program!
This camp gives students a behind-the-scenes look at so many different public safety and community organizations, including law enforcement, fire, EMS, conservation officers, emergency aviation, and more. It’s a fun and interactive way for kids to learn about the people who serve and protect our community every day. Our crew enjoyed showing the campers our helicopter, talking about air medical transport, and answering lots of great questions. You never know when you might inspire a future pilot, flight nurse, flight paramedic, police officer, firefighter, or EMT!
A huge thank you to the Seymour Police Department and the School Resource Officer team for inviting us to be part of this amazing camp. The amount of time, effort, and planning that goes into making this camp a success does not go unnoticed. Most importantly, thank you for investing in the youth of our community and giving them a chance to learn, grow, and make memories that will last a lifetime.
We hope everyone had a great week, and congratulations to all the campers on completing Camp! 🚁👮🚒🚑
