37 wheelbarrows! That’s how much leaves and debris our volunteers cleared before we even started planting in the sensory garden!

Because of their hard work, this space is one step closer to becoming a place of connection, growth, and calm for the people we serve. This is what community looks like.

Accessible transportation matters because without it, jobs become out of reach, education becomes harder to access, and independence becomes limited.

Accessible transportation isn’t just about getting somewhere, it’s about access to opportunity.

At Noble, we see every day how mobility impacts lives, and why removing these barriers is essential to building inclusive communities.

Employee Appreciation Post:

Kiernan Kord, one of our Direct Support Professionals, recently completed his Master’s in Social Work and is now preparing for his licensure exam.

Over the past year, Kiernan balanced graduate studies with hands-on experience at Noble, continuing to support the individuals we serve while growing in his field.

His dedication to learning, growth, and making a difference in the lives of others reflects what Noble is all about.

Congratulations, Kiernan. We are proud to have you on our team and excited for what is ahead.

May is National Mobility Awareness Month. Mobility means more than getting from place to place- it’s about freedom, independence, and connection.

Every day, we support people with disabilities in accessing their communities, pursuing careers, and living life on their terms. Because when mobility barriers are removed, opportunities open up.

Join us this month as we celebrate the power of movement, independence, and inclusion.

Since joining Noble in August 2022, Victoria Pittman has made a meaningful impact as a Direct Support Professional. In addition to her role at Noble, Vickie also provides Participant Assistance and Care hours for her son — a responsibility she approaches with professionalism, heart, and dedication.

During her shifts, Vickie steps fully into her role as a DSP, focusing on creating opportunities for growth, independence, and community involvement. From participating in groups like the Autism Community Connection Group to the Greenwood Challenger Baseball League, she continually seeks meaningful experiences that enrich her son’s life.

Her thoughtful approach has helped him build independence at home and in the community, including securing a volunteer role at Happy Hounds Doggy Daycare and exploring part-time employment opportunities.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading mystery and crime novels and watching crime shows in her spare time.

We are grateful for Vickie’s compassionate spirit, dedication, and commitment to helping create meaningful lives through Noble.
