Gov. Mike Braun announced $120 million in regional grants to strengthen rural health care across Indiana.

The funding will support locally driven efforts to expand access to care, strengthen the rural health workforce, improve maternal and infant health, and address barriers to care in rural communities.

Stay safe in the heat! ☀️

To find a cooling center near you, visit on.in.gov/coolingcenters

With highs in the 90s and heat indices topping 100 this week, it is recommended to:

-Stay indoors as much as possible
-Wear loose-fitting, light-colored clothing
-Drink fluids regularly
-Avoid strenuous activity
-Watch for symptoms of heat-related illness

Hoosiers can also use cooling centers as a safe, air-conditioned place to escape the heat. Find a cooling center near you at on.in.gov/coolingcenters.

Our 'One Stop Shops' brings together resources to help residents access vaccines, cleanup information, vital records, insurance support, social services, housing assistance, BMV documentation, USSBA, FEMA, and the State Disaster Relief Fund.

All services are free. Please bring a valid state ID if you have one.
