What is the Circuit of fun?
The Circuit of Fun is a series of monthly events fromthat provide unique experiences and/or great pricing. All events are open to all Scout members, family and friends. Our circuit of fun coordinator, Emma Kalinowski (2014-15), will advertise circuit of fun activities and purchase tickets in the event that a group of scouts and/or families want to attend.
The CURRENT list of activities for the 2014-15 scouting year follow:
October 18, 2014 - Cub Scout Fun Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway - BB guns, archery, rope making, hands on event with some of our Circuit of Fun partners, races, obstacle courses, STEM activities and lots more at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway! Circuit of Fun Event!
October 18, 2014, Operation Homecoming - Calling all Scouts. When World War II veterans came home from the war there was not a big welcome home. Indy Honor Flight is an organization that is devoted to flying these veterans to Washington DC for the day to visit the memorial that was built to honor their service. Now is your chance to help give these veterans the welcome home that they deserve. There will be a big welcome home celebration for the veterans when they return from Washington DC. The celebration will be held in the gym of Plainfield High School. Indy Honor Flight would like as many Scouts as possible to show up in uniform to create a “Corridor of Honor” for these veterans to walk through. Bring your parents and friends. This welcome home is a very moving experience. You will not be sorry you were there.
October 24 - 26, 2014 Civil War Days Battle of Belzer - All Scouts and adults are welcome to step back in time and find out about the Civil War by living it! Camp, eat, drill and learn by engaging with re-enactors in lots of different events that bring the important part of our nation's history to life. Come with your troop or sign up with a Scout and parent!

November 22, 2014 – Indiana Pacers – Come see the Pacers and get the best deal in town! For $12 (plus tax) you get a ticket to the game, shoot a free throw on Conseco’s main court, and hear a special post game talk by a player. For an upgraded ticket you get a discount on that ticket, all the benefits of the $12 ticket plus a t-shirt, hot dog, chips and small Pepsi product. Circuit of Fun Event!
November 8, 2014 - SCOUTStrong Wilderness Run/Walk 5K at Camp Belzer - The timed 5K run and walk will weave through historic Camp Belzer and onto the Fall Creek Parkway Trail. The Wilderness Run 5K is open to the public. Both walkers and runners are encouraged to participate. Post race refreshments provided. Awards for age division winners!
December 7, 2014 – Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus - Back by popular demand the Scouts will share the arena during this must-see family event that can only be witnessed at The Greatest Show On Earth! Scouts are invited for a pre-show, all access event that will get them on the floor to meet performers, try on ringmaster jackets, see the elephants up close and be awe inspired! January 24, 2015 – Monster Truck Jam – Check out the action as these 10,000-pound monsters trucks come to town. All Scouts and their families will be given a free pit pass that will let you in before the general public to meet drivers and see the trucks! Circuit of Fun Event! DEADLINE December 19th!
February 8, 2015 – Indy Fuel – We are excited to announce a brand new partnership with the new professional hockey team the Indy Fuel! Come check out the best hockey Indy has seen in years in newly renovated Coliseum at the Fairgrounds. Circuit of Fun Event!
March 14, 2015 – Supercross – This is an exciting, racing sport with specialized high performance off-road motorcycles. They race on a dirt track with steep jumps and obstacles. All Scouts will also receive a commemorative Supercross Poster! Circuit of Fun Event! DEADLINE February 2nd!
April 7-12, 2015 – Largest Pinewood Derby Track and Best in Show at the Indiana State Museum – Come race on the 120’ long two and half story track in the entryway of the Indiana State Museum. It is a impressive site. Plus take part in the best in show if you car is built more fun design than speed. Something for everyone at a great price! Circuit of Fun Event!
May, 2015 – Scout Days with the Indy Eleven – Check out the Indy's new soccer team! Lots of fun for the whole family. Circuit of Fun Event!
