Judy Christofolis's life was cut drastically short by metastatic breast cancer on March 12, 2020. Judy was a strong, generous, compassionate, selfless, and humble woman who left an indelible mark as a community leader and successful businesswoman, as well as a cherished wife, sister, aunt, friend and dog lover. She was also a devoted volunteer and founding member of the Indianapolis Cancer Guild.

After her passing, her husband created the Judy Christofolis Cancer Scholarship in her honor through the Indianapolis Cancer Guild and the American Cancer Society. This scholarship is available to college-bound high school seniors who currently have or have had cancer or have a parent, guardian, or sibling who has or has had cancer. Two students will be awarded a scholarship, each worth $5,000.

CALLING ALL HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS & PARENTS: The Judy Christofolis Cancer Scholarship is now accepting applications through Tuesday, March 30, 2021. College-bound high school seniors who live in Marion, Hamilton, Boone, Hendricks, Morgan, Johnson, Shelby or Hancock counties and currently have or have had cancer or have a parent, guardian, or sibling who has or has had cancer are eligible to apply. Applications are now being accepted for the Judy Christofolis Cancer Scholarship. Graduating High School Seniors who are going to an Indiana College or University. Applicant must have experienced cancer themselves or through an immediate family member (either parent/guardian or a sibling).
