Help us congratulate Mr. Swanson on 41 years of dedicated service, which 19 of those were as a Program Analyst! 🎉
Mr. Swanson has been a cornerstone of the Pay Management Division and the U.S. Army Reserve Command (USARC) G-8 community. Throughout his distinguished career, he has been a tireless advocate for the 'Properly Paid Soldier,' understanding that financial stability is a primary driver for retention and mission readiness.
Known for his deep technical expertise in USAR Pam 37-1 and Army pay systems, Mr. Swanson has mentored countless Soldiers and Civilians. He expertly guided the team through complex transitions—from the sunsetting of legacy systems like RLAS to the modernization of IPPS-A. His legacy is defined not just by the accuracy of the ledgers he managed, but by the culture of operational excellence and integrity he leaves behind.
During his recognition, Mr. Walter Riley commended Mr. Swanson for his dedicated leadership and professionalism at USARC G-8 from 2007 to 2026, highlighting the core mission: 'Twice the Citizen, Combat Readiness.'
