We can’t thank enough for their incredible support of Mid-North Food Pantry!

Not only do members of First Friends volunteer with us every other Wednesday, helping ensure our neighbors have access to food and basic necessities, but they also recently raised more than $10,000 to support our mission of feeding our community.

🎉 Saturday Pantry Hours Are Back for the Summer!

Starting this Saturday, Mid-North Food Pantry will once again be open on Saturdays from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM through the end of July.

We know weekdays don’t work for everyone, and we’re excited to offer this additional opportunity for neighbors to access food and basic necessities.

- Shop once per week
- Open to Indiana residents who meet income eligibility requirements
- Client-choice pantry experience

We are located at:
3333 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis in the Basement

Thank you to Mirror Indy for this piece on our pantry summer hours. They start this Saturday, June 6th from 10 am - noon.

We are looking for volunteers to help this summer during these additional dates. Sign up at midnorthfoodpantry.org/volunteer.

If you’d like to donate to support our summer pantry hours, please give at midnorthfoodpantry.org/donate.

Mid-North Food Pantry will be expanding its hours to help families stock their kitchens as schools let out for summer break.

You can visit the pantry on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays year-round from 10 a.m. to noon. From June 6 to July 25, you will also be able to go on Saturdays.

You can go once per week. Mid-North Food Pantry is located at 3333 N. Meridian St.

Food Rescue Driver Needed

Do you have a vehicle and a heart for helping fight hunger? Mid-North Food Pantry is looking for a volunteer driver to help pick up donated food from Aldi on Fridays.

This important food rescue partnership helps bring additional groceries to our pantry for neighbors experiencing food insecurity.

Thank you to for sharing our news about our upcoming Summer Saturday Pantries.

Beginning in June, Mid-North Food Pantry will be open every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. throughout the summer (except July 4 weekend), in addition to our regular pantry hours every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. If you or someone you know may need extra support this summer, we are here to help.

To make Summer Saturday pantries possible, we are actively seeking:

- Volunteers to assist with set-up, registration, distribution, and clean-up
- Financial supporters to help cover the cost of food, operations, and expanded services during the summer months.

Volunteer Driver Needed: Friday Pick-Ups

We are looking for a reliable volunteer driver with an SUV or truck to help us make weekly food pick-ups from our community partner,
Aldi.

📍 When: Every Friday around 9:30 a.m.
📍 What: Pick up food and deliver it to Mid-North Food Pantry

This simple but important role helps us keep food moving and shelves stocked for the families we serve.
