Who is ready for another Mission Monday? 🍎

Each Monday, we will be sharing a post highlighting the impact that FTEF has been able to have on Franklin Township students and teachers thanks to your support. This Monday, we would like to feature Jenelle Holt’s Grant Project, “Oh, The Places You’ll Orbit!”

Jenelle, an instructional coach at Bunker Hill Elementary, had an idea to bring the Skydome Planetarium to her school. She believed that this experience would “[give] students the chance to experience the awe of space without leaving the gym. Inside the dome, students [would] feel as though they [were] truly "in space," exploring the moon, stars, and planets up close.” FTEF was proud to award her with $1,895.00 in order to make this dream come true.

“Oh, The Places You’ll Orbit!” impacted roughly 440 students within Bunker Hill Elementary School. When asked how the project impacted her students, Jenelle said, “our planetarium experience ignited students’ curiosity and made [them] feel like [they] were truly exploring space.”

We are so grateful that we were able to fund this grant project and support Jenelle and her students! Stay tuned for more Mission Monday posts in the future!
